Simi is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She began her career as a gospel singer and gained public recognition in 2014 with her song "Tiff". She signed a record deal with X3M Music but left in 2019. Simi released her second studio album Simisola in 2017 and her third album, Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1, in 2019.
